Reporting live from Tel Aviv and campaigning hard against the re-election of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on her MSNBC show on Tuesday, host Andrea Mitchell invited on one guest after another to denounce the Likud party leader. Turning to New York Times Jerusalem bureau chief Jodi Rudoren, Mitchell declared of Netanyahu: "He's clearly fearing that this center-left coalition and the prominence of, for the first time, a united Arab voting policy, Arab-Israelis who can vote, might make a difference." . . .

Seems MSNBC and NBC have invested heavily in antisemitism. Just how low can journalism go?

Best comment I've found so far: One could opine that the 'panicking racist' in this situation is our illustrious emir, clown prince, blitherer-in-chief, and Clueless Leader, the always-lovely, but terminally-vague, Odildo the Mad.

Almost makes up for the severe cranial agony which the cognitive dissonance of "MSNBC Denounces Netanyahu as a 'Panicking' 'Racist'" caused. Ow.

(Panicking? What, is he saying, "Oh, no, I won! Now what do I do?" Seems a bit out of character for him...)

MSNBC called Netanyahu a "racist" because he will do what is necessary to protect Israel and Israelis from having rockets shot at them by terrorists. He's bigoted against terrorists. So am I, for that matter. As we all know, though, Obama . . . isn't bigoted against terrorists at all, just against Americans.

What's terribly amusing about the whole accusation is that most of the people MSNBC is accusing him of being racist against... are the same race he is. If you ask them who he's biased against, then once they get done dodging the question, they'll say "Palestinians"... who are, for the most part, Semitic. Just as most Israelis are. Including Netanyahu.

The really ironic part of that, of course, is that most of the racial "advocates" in this country (Obama, Sharpton, fill in the blank with the name of your choice) hold more prejudicial views about the race they nominally support. After all, if they really believed blacks were as good as anyone else, then blacks wouldn't need the special advantages these people are demanding, now would they? (And I've noticed that the ones who actually get down to earning the things they want don't need any such advantages. They get 'em just fine on their own. But of course, Uncle Toms like that don't count, now, do they? After all, Oreos aren't really black... if you can get the race racketeers to be honest about how they feel.)

I agree. It all comes down to a gigantic word-game intended to kepp everyone confused and not knowing who or what to support. The Devil is said to try to do that to all humanity. Devil or no Devil, given the types who do this sort of thing regularly, I'd have to say they're up to pure evil.
