Bumblebees are social creatures, and, unlike honeybees, they can use their retractable stingers over and over without damage to their bodies. The bee rescued by the second bee may have been from the same colony as the latter; but even so, it's an amazing rescue -- especially considering that what the first bee was rescued from was a black widow spider . . .
