36 Signs The Media Is Lying To You About How Fukushima Radiation Is Affecting The West Coast - Freedom Outpost | Freedom Outpo

http://freedomoutpost.com/2014/01/36-signs-media-lying-fukushima-radiation-affecting-west-coast/

This is worth checking out, especially if you've got a Geiger counter. At least find some way to check on levels of radioactivity in your food -- it could save your life. And areas on the West Coast of this country may not be safe for any living creatures. Large swaths of the Pacific Ocean that were relatively healthy in 2010 are now dead, biologically speaking, with only a few sick fish or whales seen in them. Starfish are dying of something that converts them into "goo" all over the West Coast. If radioactivity from Fukushima is hurting and killing huge numbers of other creatures, you know what it could do to us. So check this out.

Portable radiation survey equipment is a fairly common item (it will be present at all medical facilities with X-ray equipment, and at many industrial facilities, for example, per NRC regulations) so high levels of environmental radioactive contamination will not be able to be kept under wraps for long. I worked for a few years in the industrial hygiene field.

I'd love to take a Geiger counter to the Pike Place fish market and check out the sea food offered for sale there. Or go Scuba-diving in Puget Sound with a Geiger counter, and check out the starfish and other sea life there. Maybe I'd find nothig above background radiation. And maybe I'd find a lot of radioactive starfish and other creatures. If there is a lot of radioactive material in the ocean off our West Coast, it's not too likely it would be found by industry or hospitals unless they sent their personnel into the ocean off our West Coast and/or to the West Coast fish markets to specifically look for it. There have been reports of large stretches of dead areas in the Pacific all starting in the water off the Fukushima reactor, but somehow those reports remain in scientific journals or are reported by independent media who got it from the scientists, not the mainstream media, which treat all such reports as "hearsay," "right-wing hysteria," etc. I think one can purchase Geiger counters at military surplus stores, or off the Internet. I should get one and go check out the Pike Place fish market, just to settle the question once and for all. If it's going to show up anywhere, it's going to show up in catches of fish and shellfish brought to the market by fishing vessels and their ilk.
